I'm just saying, I'm picturing Britney saying: " Hi, I'm Britney and I'm an alcoholic" and the rest of the group will be staring is staring at her cleavage. But whaterver, it IS good to see she is still in rehab and giving it her best shot. I'm rooting for her.

The thing about AA is that everyone is equal, and everyone is anonymous. I know there are lots of people who think that AA (or any structured 12 step program) is bullshit, but IMO if it works for someone who cares if they are out praying in a grass hut. I guess what I am trying to say is that whatever it takes for someone to get sober, I don't think that it should be ridiculed just because someone may not agree with the principles...
K I am off my soapbox y'all

I have a friend who went to AA meetings in Marin County... (just north of S.F.) you wouldn't believe the names she was at meetings with. She only told me about them AFTER they went public about it in magazines and TV interviews. My friend said that it really is kept anonymous by most of those folks... I don't doubt that some stuff leaks out though.
I think you're mostly right sweetrebel, I don't think it would work for me though. There are some fundamental things about the structure and method that don't set right with me. But it has helped millions of folks.

I think the outfit is fine for an AA meeting. Except for those heels with the dress and baggy sweatshirt.

How does she manage to wear so many different items of clothing and not to of them match? That's an art form.

Isn't getting involved with another rehab patient or another AA'er a big no-no, especially during the first year or so of recovery? or is that just for people with actual substance abuse problems and not just an image problem that needs work?
