My thoughts exactly. Anyone with kids knows they thrive on routine. Of course if chaos is your routine, maybe it works for them. I still think it's a shame.

I have a feeling that once the kids are in school, they won't do it as much. But Maddox is only in preschool right now, so it's not really a big deal.

There's a happy medium. My parents took us on trips often. At least once a year, I was out of school for a week or two while we went on trips. So, I'm not new to traveling as a kid. However, these kids aren't on the move a few times a year. My guess is they've seen their own rooms less than they've seen hotel rooms.
