That just seems weird to me. I mean, she doesn't strike me as particularly athletic or anything, but who knows, maybe that's the point. I just don't get it.

she doesnt seem like a good fit, I know. When I think about pumping up, getting in shape or becoming more athletic, this woman does not come to mind.

Re: Maggie Gyllenhaal debuting her new Reebok campaign "I am what I am"
It's for the "I Am What I Am" campaign... Christina Ricci and Lucy Liu did it, too. I don't think it has anything to do with fitness... it's supposed to be about individual style and all that.
Quote:
|
"The 'I Am What I Am' marketing campaign which celebrates authenticity and individuality is both relevant and inspiring for young consumers," said Dennis Baldwin, Reebok's global chief marketing officer. "We understand the struggle for today's youth to both fit in and stand out as individuals. Through this campaign, we hope to encourage young people to find their own voice by celebrating contemporary icons who have accomplished their dreams by being true to themselves and following their own unique path to greatness."

She said in an interview that most of her indie film projects don't pay her, so she took it for the money. Although I'm sure she supports the message, too.

'I am what I am'? Why not just use Popeye? I'd find that more believable.

OK I'm probably totally behind the times here but is she Jake's sister? I've never heard of her but I recognise her face

Yes she's Jake's sister. And she has the type of face that looks old even when young, so I wish her to look younger that her age when she'll be old
