I thought he was probably extremely drunk during the telecast. He was all over the place and it seemed to go beyond a little excited over his wife's win.

When Joaquin Phoenix won, Ryan stood up during his speech and kept telling Phoenix he owed him money. I'm guessing Ryan had bet Joaquin that he'd win. Joaquin finally told Ryan from the stage that he'd pay him.

Yeah, I guess, he is drunk, but at least he seems to be a happy drunk. He is one cute guy, and Reese Witherspoon is a lucky lady, although in some of the pictures she looks a little embarrassed.
