What happened? Tea Leoni used to be very pretty, but she looks strange now. She looks hard and masculine.

not my kind of movie. Jim Carrey seems to water down in every movie. I used to love him.

They look really cute together, seems like they have good chemistry.

Re: Téa Leoni and Jim Carrey at "Fun with Dick and Jane" Photo Call
There's something about Carrey lately, I can't help but feel bad for him when I see him. I can't pinpoint it, but it's almost like he's putting on his hysterical face and just wants to get the fuck out of there. He doesn't really seem happy anymore. Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?
I guess it's just because his "hit" days are over (Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar), and he's getting older?

It was funny...the first time, with Jane Fonda and George Segal.
Seriously though, Tea Leoni looks really cold and icy; like Anne Heche's
older, bitter sister. I used to be a fan, too.

Re: Téa Leoni and Jim Carrey at "Fun with Dick and Jane" Photo Call
I just watched A series of Unfortuante Events and I think Jim Carrey is a talented clever man. Typical clown though. Laughing on the outside, dying on the inside. The more hysterical he gets, you know the louder he is crying inside. Dunno why comedians are like that. Its crazy.

Jim's really showing his age now, he still looks funny as hell though, his facial expressions alone just crack me up! GO JIM!!

Dick and Jane looks hysterical! I love the clip where the lawn's getting repo'd.
Veering OT: That said, personally, I hated the Lemony Snicket movie. Actually, I could never get into the books either; I'm definitely a Harry Potter ONLY kind of person. I thought Carrey was way too over the top in Lemony Snicket and I was regretting my $3.95 InDemand purchase not even 15 minutes in to the movie. The kids in the movie were pretty good, but Sunny "the biting baby" was just stupid. And the storyline was crap and full of holes. But I sat through it because I paid for it and I figured maybe it would get better. I didn't. For me, Lemony Snicket ranks right up there with Supernova and Star Trek: Insurrection on the list of "crappy movies that I'm really mad I paid to see."
Back on topic: That's one issue that I've had with some of Carrey's characters; he just over does the acting at times when a more subtle performance would work better. I mean, Count Olaf was just bufoonish instead of sinister. But Dick and Jane looks promising. And OMG, I *heart* The Truman Show!
