my boyfriend is still a bit scarred from his childhood long hair. his hair was long from neglect (his mom was too busy to get around to regular things like haircuts). he remembers having teachers tell him that he looked like a little girl and that he needed to get his hair cut. (of course, the other kids made fun of his hair too). i've seen pictures, it was pretty (blonde and shiny), but also definitely girly.

My brother insisted on having longish hair when he was a kid... about 10. He got over that real quick when he was mistaken for a girl a couple of times.

I don't know how old the kid is, but maybe Celine is a kaballah follower/studier person? I remember seeing pics of Madonna's son before he had his haircut and read something about how the boys are not allowed to cut their hair until a certain age.

If she wants a child with long flowing hair, she should birth a real girl.
