Maybe you are thinking of Nicole Richie who has a pink sapphire..she got engaged around the same time as Christina. Other celebs with colored gems that you might have been thinking of are J.Lo had a pink diamond. Princess Di had a blue sapphire. Fergie had a ruby or garnett..and that's all I can remember lol.
But that ring is Xtina's original engagement ring with 2 rings added to either side.

I kind of like it. It's not too huge where she can't bend her finger aka Star Jones. She probably didn't have to buy it herself aka BS.
But considering she's a star and stars like big rings, aka Heidi Klum, The Bennifer ring, CZJ huge rock, Dame Elizabeth and her many huge rocks from past husbands, etcetc.
I'm sure it just looks extra big because she's a tiny petite girl. I'm 6 ft. so I don't have tiny hands like hers so I'm sure if I tried on a ring that looked like that..it wouldn't look so BAM! out there on my finger.

OHHH, they are so sweet! Re: the ring, I wouldn't expect Christina to wear anything smaller than that. It's certainly not my type of thing, and could probably feed a small underdeveloped country for a year, but to each her own, I guess!!!!
