Yikes, looks like things are getting nasty between blonde camp and brunette camp! Brunettes come across as a bit more mysterious and blondes as sexy - they each have their qualities and perks.

I adore her and I think she can pull off either hair color. She will always be Kathryn from Cruel Intentions for me.

You didn't? I loved her as Kendall. I remember reading stories about how Sarah Michelle Gellar and Susan Lucci didn't get along on the set of AMC; I don't know how much truth there was to those stories. I should go hunting later and see if I can dig anything up. I swear I remember reading that SMG said, "I will never work with her again", referring to Susan Lucci.
Put me down as a vote for SMG as a brunette; I really think she looks better with brown hair.
