She is really pretty. I too noticed that she doesn't have the typical look that I'm used to seeing everyday. My Japanese students explained to me that she is from Okinawa and they have more exotic features than those from mainland Japan.

^^ I agree she's so plain some of the other girls were godesses next to her. But again its all politics, The Donald is investing in Japan on some new projects. Sad that politics take over everything..

Still can't get over the fact that she "beat" Miss Brazil, as I still can't believe Japan lost the crown to Puerto Rico last year.
Just shows how "real" and "fair" these pageants are.

Im glad Im not the only one that thinks Brazil or Venezuela (her dress was gorgeous) should have won. yea, these things are definitely rigged for w/e reason. also, i think some for some of the women judges, jealousy played a role. i mean, michelle kwan and nina garcia are not good looking.
