i thought her hair was darker, too.
this pic is about 1 month old:
her hair looks way darker. they didn't dye it, did they? 
it's probably just the lightning.

I doubt they dyed it, it is summer now and I would assume she's spending more time outside, its probably just natural sun bleaching.
