I don't like the way she's dressed here. I don't like the bracelets, the hair or the blouse. It reminds me of the Chicana homegirls in L.A. with those big hoop earrings too.

very true! when i saw these pics, I just immediately thought of the marketing behind it you know? since her last english album, which I actually thought was good (dont hurt me), didnt sell well, she wants this one to so she's catering to the clientele she thinks will buy it...mainly spanish speaking individuals; hence the attempt to "connect to her roots"

When she was with pdiddy she came out with hiphop album
With Ben she started dressing like she was Jackie O. cause of the interest
Ben has in politics
Now with Marc she is catering to the Spanish speaking communities.
Does she ever get into a relationship that doesn't advance her career in any way?
I will always admire her for not giving up on her dreams but since she became
famous she seems to have become manipulative and cunning.

I agree with you Yoyoma. When Jennifer Lopez was with P. Diddy she was trying to get into that music scene and get credibility on the street as a hip hop artist. That's when she adopted that whole "J.Lo" moniker and she was making videos with Ja Rule and various black rappers.
Then when she was with Ben Affleck she was out there trying to be so 'All-American' going to Red Sox games and trying to dress all prim and proper, trying to be future 'political wife material' for Ben's future.
Now that she's with Marc Anthony, she's releasing an all Spanish album. All of a sudden she's so in tune with her hispanic roots. This woman is so defined by the men she's with at the time. It's crazy.
