It doesn't suit her though, and i dont know how anyone thinks the black roots is a 'good look', its never a good look, it just looks careless and tacky.

I agree her hair doesnt look good here but the black roots and the faded highlights are part of the character transformation. I doubt she likes it herself but hopefully once the movie is over she dye her hair back to what is was because she normally has beautiful hair.

I hope it is part of the movie, and not her new look. And hell yes, that waitress uniform and messy ponytail/bun thing is very rachel greene (jennifer aniston in friends)

She is obviously doing this for a role hence the waitress outfit. As long it is appropriate for the role I commend her lack of vanity in pursuit of finding the character.
not a good look for her but I would imagine it wasn't meant to be.
