Angelina adopted Zahara and Maddox as infants. This new child they're adopting is around 4 years-old from what I've read. He will probably be frightened and/or nervous about meeting his new family and leaving that orphanage since it's been the only home he's had since he was a baby. Therefore, I think it was a great idea for Angelina to have taken Maddox to Vietnam with her to bring some added comfort to this new child they're bringing into their life. Maybe this new little boy won't be as frightened when he sees another little boy (Maddox) whom he can interract with. The most important thing is making this new child feel secure and I have no doubt that's why Angelina brought Maddox, so her new son will feel there's someone he can connect with immediately. Hopefully it will make the transition for this new child easier (especially for the long flight back home to the United States).

I think it is madness to adopt a four year old into a Hollywood family. Even a baby adopted as an infant will have difficulties to bond with their new parents. It is extremly important that no-one else than the parents handle the child. How is that going to work in this family, including nannies and paps?
