She does actually look good here. Her makeup looks good. Well, they live in CA after all, this is how kids her age dress a lot of the time... so if they're not all hung up on being perfect all the time, what the hell, who cares. Seems down-to-earth to me.
I just don't like it when they have no fashion sense whatsoever at the important times, and the hair looks like something that was dragged through the barn by a mouse being chased by barn cats.
