Well the name change should be because of the fact she doesn't look like a pig anymore since she had the nose job.

Why would you assume that she had a nose job? I think she's very much capable of having a lovely sculpted nose.

She didn't exactly change her name, she just dropped her last name, Pigford. She goes by Eva Marcille - her first and middle names.
