Mira, anything's possible. Reese Witherspoon never used to have thighs like that, even as a young girl, how did she suddenly get them now? After she's had 2 kids. Motive.

One big problem: pain. Hip arthritis and left hip dysplasia. I just jacked up the 800 mg of Motrin to 3 a day instead of two. Since I got hip arthritis (thinning cartilage in the hips) 4 yrs ago, I've gained 25 lbs. It's so frustrating. The doctor says you have to exercise through the pain. Yeah, well you try it buddy. Constant pain is a bitch. Never expected it. I was a runner, a dancer, etc. and now all I can do is walk and do the gazelle. Hate swimming (chlorine) so the weight will have to come off slowly.

^Aww Mira that must be quite frustrating. Is there anything they can do for beside
taking the medications to reduce the pain?

They can do cortisone shots which I'm not doing - yet. They can do a hip replacement which they won't do because I'm too young (They need to be done every 10 years (with the current technology), and each successive operation is less likely to be as effective.
30 years ago my mom took off 35 lbs. with NutriSystem alone. She hates exercise. I have a friend on NutriSystem (not strict) and she's losing. But it's $10 a day and I'm not so sure I would like the food. I think Weight Watchers is the best for someone like me.
Thanks for asking. I hope to start walking 20 mins. a day as soon as I get my bloodstream loaded up with the Motrin. The dr. says he's been handing it out like candy for 20 years and no problems with anyone. But you have to keep yourself hydrated and get kidney and liver function checked every 6 months. I hate taking stuff like that but it's actually a God-send. I simply wouldn't be able to walk without it. I'm talking everyday walking, not intentional walking!
Sorry for the OT.
