I think its sad that with all the money, fame, etc she has achieved she still had such low self esteem that she had to completely change her appearance to feel better about herself.

I remember when her MTV show was on she talked about how she wanted to be 'different' than everyone else. That lasted all of about 5 minutes.

Yes, but it's not her fault. You never really have to listen to what public people say: they just say what follows the fashion, trends and so on. Do you really think Tyra anks was real when she said "kiss my fat ass"? Before shooting that 30 seconds thing she has starved for almost 3 weeks!! BUt she talks of self-esteem.
Why are all encouraging people with their claptraps? Cannot they just be real?!
On Ashlee's website there's a paper where she claims she doesnt want a nose job... the thing is: making people believe they really care about spreading strong values and so on is ridiculous. You don't get inspired by a freaking Ashlee Simpon or Madonna or Robbie Williams: it's their job talking nonsense. They are a living contraddiction.

I obviously disagree with the masses here.

I think Ashlee's plastic surgery was very well done and she looks far far better now than before. What I don't understand however is why it is always assumed that a person who has PS will automatically become addicted and opt for more and more procedures. That does not happen to every person who decided to go under the knife.
