I think the standard opinion of her is (or at least used to be) the exact opposite... that she's very friendly and cheerful. That's what I keep hearing, anyway. There's just been a few items lately that haven't been as flattering.

i like the hair, but...hmmm....how do i put this... she's not the most attractive woman. in fact, she's quite weird-looking. something about her used to annoy me, but now i find her slightly tolerable. i don't know why.

I think that's always been her appeal. That she was able to play these desirable, stylish characters without being a Hollywood beauty queen. I find it refreshing when someone doesn't have standard physical beauty but still makes him/herself appealing. I like that in real life as well as on the big/small screen. Those are often the people I'm most attracted to. Because then their personality and style speaks for them, rather than genetics.
