I believe that is just an optical illusion created by her small waist. If you check out the pic where she is with her friend, their hips appear to be similar in width.

She's cute, I enjoy her eventhough I cannot stand Meadow, lol
Anyway, I thought she looked like she was loosing a lot of weight again in the last season or half season or whatever that excuse for Sopranos was but she looks really good here, I'm glad.
