yea I've been a fan since the early 90's, he might have been around even earlier than that, maybe late 80's ? I also like Ali G though. I think they are totally different.

He looks so different without that crazy mop of hair. I love Weird Al's parodies. He is mighty talented and has a surprisingly nice singing voice. He's also convincing in different looks/costumes.

I really don't like him much. He can't act, in my opinion. Way too over the top. I saw this one thing he did with Eminem, and it was pathetic.

The earliest thing I know he released was in 1984 - it was polka parodies of bands like Quiet Riot. Before that, he was on Dr Demento (damn, I'm showing my age!).
