Why does he always look scabby, and contagious, and like he combed his hair with a pork chop?

I love Ethan is Gattaca and Before Sunset/Sunrise. He's been looking really rough since the divorce from Uma.

He has jail palor. I am loathe to recommend anyone tan, as I find orange skin idiotic, and ugly, but in this case I'd recommend some color.

I hope he has just fallen prey to the man hairdo fad of using product, obviously the wrong product- but it sure does look like he just isn't showering regularly.

    He looks awful
I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep.
