This already looks a whole lot better than when she wears the hair down. She's gorgeous as usual, but to me she always gives off this sad vibe, too. Hmmm.

Don't mind the dress so much as its color. Does anybody look good in hot pink? I guess Halle comes closer than anyone else to pulling it off.

Halle's red carpet choices always are, I think. She somehow manages to pick outfits that are pretty but safe, dull and slightly too low-cut, too short or too revealing in some other way at the same time. Boring and the tiniest bit slutty, beats me how she does it.
This one is a perfect example; it's a very safe, classic and pretty gown, flattering cut and all, but the slit and the cleavage are just too much together. They should've gone with either the super-high slit, or the low-cut bodice; not both. Leave something to the imagination, for once!

i thought i was the only one who noticed the slight vibe of sadness in her. anyway i think that is partly what makes her look so beautiful, it's kind of mysterious.
she'd look even better if she'd worn a different dress. i love the pulled back hair, it looks so fresh because i'm SO tired of those giant curly hairdos/wigs that some stars are sporting at every event.

She looks nice but I think the dress shows too much skin. It's kind of trashy, especially with the fluorescent pink color.
