They both look great, I love the pic of her and Quincy Jones grabbing each other with affection...

They're good, personal, friends (through Warren, who's known Quincy for decades)

I saw Annette Bening on 'The Tonight Show' a few weeks ago...she was promoting her latest movie and she was so snooty. I didn't like her at all. She did not seem warm or friendly in any way and she didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. It literally seemed as if it was 'difficult' for her to crack a smile. I was also shocked at how wrinkled she is...it's nice to age gracefully without plastic surgery, but I think there are a lot of regular women her age (not Hollywood types, I'm talking about regular women in real life) who look better.

I remember seeing their first interview together, to promote their movie (flop) "Love Affair". It was 7 weeks after their son was born. What became immediately clear was that Warren was very real and warm, while Annette seemed to be "on" as in "acting" all the time. Also Warren's responses and reactions were spontaneous, while she really weighed every word she said, almost in an attempt to come across as warm and committed.
So, personality wise they do not seem to have a whole lot in common. It's more in their intelligence, their background, their political and social interests, plus the fact that they both longed to have (many) children.

Well, to be honest, these are quite good pics of him (taken from a favorable angle ) . I personally think he looks older than his 69 years with his turkey neck especiallyops: But there's 21 years between them, and THAT indeed, does not show. I guess it's true what I read somewhere, that she's quite a heavy smoker. Might also explain why she has a deeper speaking voice than he does

^^ I'm just looking at her and I'm thinking she looks rough.
I have no idea how old she is but if she and Sharon Stone
are the same age than Annette has to visit Sharon's surgeon.

OMG, you took the words right out of my mouth! That's the impression I got of Annette exactly. She weighs every word that she says! To be honest, I know very little about Warren or Annette, but for whatever reason, I've always felt that their connection was in their intelligence and social interests too. How surprising that you pointed that fact out when I've always sensed that to be true. She may not be personable or likeable, but there's no denying that Annette is an articulate woman. She may lack warmth, but it's obvious that she is educated. That must've been very appealing to Warren when he met her. And yes, I'm sure wanting to have children was a BIG factor in Warren marrying her....so in that sense he made a wise choice. I'm sure the relationship works for them and that the kids must be their 'glue', but Annette sure doesn't come across as quirky, overly loving or even charismatic. Smart, articulate and socially aware, she probably is, but she won't get any awards in the likeabilty department any time soon. She seems rather cold and aloof, like she's more of a cerebral or logical person than an emotional one.

I do believe there's sincere love between them, and apparently she CAN be quite warm and funny at home. Warren once said about her that she has the most infectuous giggle. He also calls her "my superior half".......

Warren looks great; maybe he's had some subtle work around the eyes. Annette looks as old as he does, and there's quite an age difference between them. She is not aging well at all.
