i don't understand how it could have been a head on collision since the guy said he was trying to park his car. he would have to be in the wrong somehow to be on that side of the street facing the wrong way.
too bad the paparazzi actually weren't following her. it would be real easy for the court to decide who was at fault.

Yeah it was the guy in the van's fault, he was making an illegal U-turn to park on the other side of the street and the cops said she was going around 35mph and they collided, so she might have been going too fast for a small road like that but it was the speed limit and its his fault since technically he was in the middle of an illegal U-turn at the point of impact. I feel for the guy though, he's a busboy w/ 6 kids...Someday when I'm rich my charity will be: FREE BIRTHCONTROL TO ALL!

thank you alice for stating a better speed than the eye witnesses claiming she was going 50-75mph. when i do ambulance rotations i've seen MVA at 50 miles and they don't look like that.

Even if the guy WAS making an illegal U turn, most drivers would have seen it happening and slowed to allow for it....she was obviously doing something that impared her judgement or distracted her from the road since she just crashed right into the side of him...
