She was great in Best in Show. Ever seen Waiting for Guffman? Even better.

If you liked Best in Show, you'll like this one. You either *get* those Christopher Guest movies or you don't. It's funny, he told Parker not to hurry up her lines, but to drag it out as much as she liked, and she DID. There are long shots of her just sitting & thinking of what she's going to say, and you can see the gears turning in her head. She's so cute. She played a vapid but sweet chick who quit her job at Dairy Queen to be in a terrible theater production for her small town's 150th anniversary.

I know - I'm resisting the urge to pop in my Waiting for Guffman dvd because I'll end up staying up way too late. Hell, I'll stay up too late anyway.
