I was in Barcelona last week on a school trip and drove past the place were she was doing her concert. (Not that you really care, just thought I'd tell you, lol)

She is a hispanic sell out, the blond thing and the fake hair that she did not need to begin with. The belly thing is getting old, I know lots of girls where I am from that dance 10 times better than she does. All her videos are about her belly or doing some guy, she is always using other's people work and lyrics without asking permission like in the her last video, everything is hips or belly, wonder if she has anything else?

Spain loves her. people love her. Is there anybody who deosn't? I just loved it, if she would have sayd clearly from the beginning that "Hips don't lie" is a remix of the song of the "Dirty dancing:havanna night" movie, Dance like this. I meen, as I heared the song for the fisrt time, Shakiras version I meen,I just had a shok. I love Havanna nights and I thought"Oh how nice of Shakira remixeing the nice song" but than I never heard somebody saying that it isn't Shakiras own song entirely.

that is what Shakira is all about. that's why the audiance loves her. It's true that the media is markeing her as "perfect". Yes, she is all about bellydancing and all the other stuff. But because she's beautifull, and famouse and her songs are a huge success, she is the one who you put near the latin dances and beats. (turkey has lots of beutifull women who dance the bel;lydances much better, being theyr own...but they are just not that famouse)....if you ask me....I can do what Shakira does and I am sure there are many other girls who can but they have to be launched out so that the publicum sees them...and so they'll get popular. But untill then....it's all about Shakira to do this. Shakira has become a brand.(and I won't say more...becuase I'll get to say that humanity is not as bright as it seems to be and I don't want to argue)

She's only a 1/4 Spanish.
She's half spanish /italian and half lebonese.
I hated the bleached hair on her - that was sell out.

I like her look in these pictures - she looks sincere and passionate about what she's doing.
