i dont litter, i throw things in the garbage, or if i cant, i hold it until i can. when i ride the train and i see people eating fried chicken and throw the bones on the floor, i give them a dirty look. i think its disgusting.

I don't litter and neither does anyone else I know. If I see someone littering, I ask them if they've dropped something. They are usually embarrassed into picking it up. If they don't, I pick it up for them because I care about the environment I live in.

Someone taught me long ago that the world is not my private garbage dump. I think you need to learn that, too.

Yeah littering is one of the most harmful, stupid, preventable things you can do. Most of the time a garbage can is 10 steps away, or you can just hold onto it and throw it out later.

Okay, so the girl litters, but she is such a dumbass for letting all these photographers take a picture of her doing that. Heck, I feel guilty even thinking about throwing out a piece of gum! --so I don't.

You must be very young to have a short-sighted attitude like that.

Quite apart from anything, I'd much rather look at ANYTHING that was clean and tidy compared to a dirty, garbage-infested littered place. It's about nature, beauty and aesthetics and grace -- things that make life worth living to most of us.
