I love her body and hair, but there is something about her face that is just not right. She's not ugly by any means--maybe just a little odd looking--but in a good way.

Actually there is not a typical "brazilian looking" it's quite a nonsense as our culture is the result of 500 years of interbreeding. I come from the South (so do Gisele) were a lot of Europeans has immigrated in the 19th century and beginning of the 20th, and there is a lot of blue-eyed people with blond hair; but if you go to Bahia, more than 90% of the population is black people.

But concerning Gisele, I never got her appeal neither. Actually I can't understand why all the fuss around her considering there is brazilian models much more good looking. I think it's just because she's been dating Leo for a while.
I saw her at the Sao Paulo airport last year and she IS very plain, very tall and VERY skinny. Really nothin special about her. I think she would be a nobody today in the fashion world if she didn't have her boobs and her nose done AND a bankable boyfriend....

I'm not sure she got so much prominence just thanks to leo, I remember she was in Vogue at least 6 years ago...I like that giselle has an unique face, and she's got a very nice model body too
I don't think she got a nosejob, but her breasts look fake to me...models tend to be ultratall ultra skinny girls with pale skin and a plain face, that a makeup artist can paint and such...
