i love the dress! mcqueen rocks and she wears it fabulously. it's crazy but exquisitely made and the shoes are to die for.

The dress is diifferent, but I still love her. And even some of the stuff "Carrie" wore on SATC was like WTF?
I just reread this and the headline does say she is at the costume institute gala. In that case, this dress is cute! I love tartan plaid.

I also read that she was keeping in theme to the "Theme" dedicated to British designers, and that this dress was from a fashion designer who was being honored.
