He is so sexy, but I think he needs to check into the nicotine patch! Every pic you see of him he is smoking. I'm sure it just seems that he is smoking like a chimney  but almost all the pics he is puffing away!
I am a smoker, and I go to great lengths not to smell like a smoker-as sexy as he is, I have a feeling he smells like an ashtray...

^ Oh, I'm sure he smells like an ashtray.  Most smokers are unaware, but a person really already smells after just 1 cigarette. I think I'm gonna have to refer to him as "Stubby" from now on, since he ALWAYS seems to have a cigarette nearby or a stub in his little fingers or between his lips. Too bad.<thumbsdown>

well, I hope they're menthols then...I like that smell and taste on a guy...but the guy has to be F-I-N_E, and he is. and I quit smoking 2 years ago, and I still like it.

Just think about this, girls who love Joaquin> very recently the guy who played the Artful Dodger in the musical "Oliver" died, aged 53, from oral cancer. One of the reasons he was given for his disease> chain smoking for years, combined with alcohol use. The guy had to have his larynx and tongue removed three years before he died 
Surely that puts a whole different look on "sexy, smoking (literally) Joaquin" doesn't it? I sure would hate something like that to happen to him, so QUIT THE DAMNED CIGGIES, JOAQUIN!!!!!!

His cigarette addiction is way out of hand. Joaquin is my favorite and I find him sexy as hell-but the chain smoking grosses me out.
I read an article on him, and during the interview he kept lighting them up one after the other, and admitted to smoking 4 (I swear,4) packs a day. Thats 80 cigs a day-and assuming he sleeps 8 hours (prob not, but lets just assume so for the sake of the argument) that means he's smoking 5 times per hour-lighting up a new one every 12 minutes!!!!!
If he doesn't quit he WILL die much too young, no doubt about it, may not even make it to 50.

About the smoking, I thought he only did it for his role in Walk the Line. I don't recall ever seeing him smoke before, but I obviously wasn't paying attention enough.
I guess he's allowed one flaw.

But it is a serious flaw. Why do young people think they are invincible. I know I thought I was. I quit smoking 15 years ago.
I saw walk the line the other night, and now I get what all the fuss about Phoenix is, yummy.
