Jessica Simpson going to the doctors...with her damn wedding ring on!!

The same day that 3 major celebrity weeklies (Us Weekly, Life & Style, and Star) all put her on their covers, declaring her marriage to Nick Lachey dead and beyond any last minute ressucitation, Jessica Simpson put on a brave face (yet kept the all-too-telling eyes hidden behind shades) as she went to a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and the "ditzy" blonde that always would claim she just forgot it at home made it a point to wear her wedding ring.

Also on Wednesday, a PerezHilton.com operative spotted Lachey at the Brillstein-Grey offices in Los Angeles, where he was overheard complaining about the recent spate of breakup coverage and delcaring that he and Simpson were indeed together. And, that may very well be the case.

As they are prone to, Star magazine has the most salaciously delicious coverage, and in this week's issue they allege that Simpson and Lachey have an open marriage. *loud gasp* No??? Really???
