apparently' there's a hubbub about this 
it's just inaccurate, they're getting data from their own sites. there's no way to track downloads of her image across the internet, unless they got all the people hosting her images to divulge the information.

i guess not in this case. i could take a photo of myself put it up and then make a program to refresh it 1000 times a second....in a few days i'd be the most downloaded person on the internet

Edited to add: Oh, seems no one is sure her date of birth. Varies from site to site. I just found a few that claim she was born in '68 and some in '65...
