Ok... maybe I understand nothing to the American way of life, but... why does everybody seem to get their coffee from a coffee shop and then to carry them somewhere?
I usually have mine at home or comfortably seated at a table in some bar. Am I awfully 1999???

No darl you are not. Civilized people go to a cafe and sit at a table, outside if the weather permits, and spent a few minutes with a relaxing cup of properly made coffee served in a china mug or cup and saucer, NOT a crappy styrofoam cup with a lid [shudder].

There is a Starbucks 5 minutes from where I work but I have never set foot in there, I like a small black unsweetened espresso without fancy stuff in it so it's not the right place for me
