Both my boys are neutered. The stray came that way, but the Siamese had to be taken to the vet.

He hates going to the vet more than any cat I've ever had -- I've had to cancel twice in the past week because I simply cannot get him into the carrier. I've never had this problem before. Next time I will lock us both into the bathroom so that even if he jumps out before I can get the cage door latched, at least he can't hide. Grr...the vet's office wasn't amused today and told me to just bring him in when I managed to get him in the carrier!

People who have never had this problem do not understand. They do not believe that you could manage to get the tiger in the box, and yet be unable to close the door quickly enough, but it's true. There is some special law of physics for the phenomenon of a cat busting through the tiny gap between a carrier & a gate. I would describe it, but it happens too fast for me to see.

I'm worried I might not be able to get my pup neutered tomorrow. He's started limping with some mysterious injury. As far as I know he hasn't done anything, no one has stepped on a paw, and I can't see an injury, so I can't figure out what's happened.

He does have Dachshund front feet and joints and I'm hoping it's not something to do with that or his build b/c I don't think there is anything to be done for that.

I'm just going to show up for his appointment to be neutered tomorrow and tell them about it and see what they say. I hope it's nothing serious.

^^^^ He's playing the sympathy card because he knows you're going to have his nuts off tomorrow. Ignore.

He's still going, so he's honing his acting skills for naught. I have wondered if he doesn't know what's happening tomorrow. I was talking about it with my mother the other day and he jumped up on the couch and put his head down looking peeved.
