Ya know, I thought about this for a second and it is the snake. Not the small snake, but the ones that can one day swallow your children. I have to wonder about the people who have them. I watched a show on Animal Planet about exotic pets being dumped off in Florida. Weird!

BTW...does anyone else remember the guy who had a tiger and alligator in his apartment? That one was always a head scratcher for me. Two deadly animals living in your small NY apartment, that's a guy with a death wish.

    I agree with all this.

My problem is, I'm an animal nut and find most critters irresistible. We've had rats, guinea pigs, turtles, cats and dogs, and rescue pigeons. Currently, cats and dogs. However, I cannot stand to see any creature caged in or confined, so no caged birds or fish or snakes in aquariums. I always feel so sorry for those poor Beta fish they sell in tiny containers.

I agree. I don't like to see animals in cages. If they(rabbits, guinea pigs etc) can have a big space they can be let out in then that's a bit different, but I'm still not keen on it.

Birds are wonderful, I don't understand putting them in a cage
