No, I don't comprehend that. I DO comprehend THIS:

    "I don't laugh at death & cruelty"

"I hope she has a stillborn, that would be funny, hahahahahahaha."

    That is called: HYPOCRISY

No, I understand perfectly... It just doesn't really register as something I should care about.

You bit simply by responding, and saying how I'm trying to upset people on purpose.. and if it hadn't upset you, you wouldn't have bothered to say anything. Actually, if you were more on the ball you wouldn't have said anything at all, thus denying me the reaction I was looking for, however small it was.

But no. You went ahead anyway... all this protestation that "oh it doesn't upset me".. THAT'S superficial.

Monkey: I just set myself up to pay 30 bucks a month to the Toronto Humane Society the other day. I care, but I'm not above pointing out that hey.. this stuff happens. I'm also not going to froth at the mouth over it. If we weren't so used to prepackaged, boxed food and had to kill our meals and get ourselves soaked in gizzards and gore, would you give a crap?

    Probably not.

Besides, it's already dead and gone. I can't help this particular proto-sealburger, so bawling about it is quite useless.

You just can't admit that you contradicted yourself.

The hypothetical dead sealpup was not funny to you, because you said it was lame, and it was also about death & cruelty.

The hypothetical dead baby was funny to you, because you said so.

Both are hypothetical, neither one truly exists. Yet you apply a characterization to one (hypothetical dead sealpup = death & cruelty) yet you inconsistently refuse to apply it to the other (hypothetical dead baby = nothing).

You keep harping on the same point over & over, saying I don't get it, but I hear ya. The baby didn't exist. I get it. Doesn't matter.

^^ So the dead animal picture shocked you and not the photo of the dead infant?

Nope. I still don't think you got it. Think harder, Grimmy. I know you can do it.
Let me guess: because I don't care, it means I don't understand? LOL.

You didn't upset me because I know you were TRYING to upset me. You did upset Monkey though and I hope you feel good about yourself.
A little, yes. It's nice to see the Animal Crackers get in a tizzy once in awhile. Brings them back to earth for a spell.

Monkey, he donated to the Humane Society. It's all good.
Hey , doing something concrete beats sitting on your ass, pissing and moaning on a messageboard and accomplishing nothing.

1 ends with dead seals, hypothetically.

1 ends with a dead baby, hypothetically.

The hypothetical dead seals arent funny, but the hypothetical dead baby is.

Right. So one form of death and cruelty isn't funny, but another is?

You may not be aware, but people actually set out to KILL hundreds of thousands of baby seals. That is death and cruelty and it just doesn't tickle my funny bone.
Yep, and in case you haven't heard, stillborn babies are born every day, breaking the hearts of lots of parents. It's death, and it's cruel to wish that pain on someone.

The fact that you can't understand the similarities here doesn't surprise me.

This seal pup was born prematurely off the coast of Maine. It was never in danger of being clubbed or turned into a coat. Now it sits in some cage and if it lives may be released into the wild.

So it's all about a bad joke?

What are you basing the spurious claim that I missed your point entirely on? How did I give any indication that I missed your point? The lack of reaction in its entirety?

That's specious at best, stupid at worst.

onsidering I volunteer weekly at the Humane Society, donate money, currently foster a homeless cat and two homeless kittens and ALSO take the time to educate people, I think I'm being effective.

    OH SNAP.
Ooooooo a game of one-upmanship! I saved a squirrel from being eaten last night as it was cornered by 3 neighborhood cats! Beat that!

I didn't laugh at the dead seal because the JOKE ITSELF was lame.
Yeah, and nobody here buys that. Sorry. Try harder lol

I don't need to go back & find your post. I already did it. DUH.

Did I state that simply enough for you?
No. Try harder. You seem to be having a great time deflecting attention from your hypocrisy with your jabs at my intelligence. Or lack thereof, I suppose, because I must be a halfwit for not agreeing with you. That's the only reasonable explanation, right?

No, you reacted. But you still didn't get it. Try to PM a few people; maybe they can help you out.
LOL, I didn't react. I said it was inconsequential after you kept pushing it.

So you neglected to answer my questions, i'll repost them for your tired middle-aged eyes:

"What are you basing the spurious claim that I missed your point entirely on? How did I give any indication that I missed your point? The lack of reaction in its entirety?"

I'm not trying to one up you. You implied that all I do is bitch on a message board instead of actually making a difference.

I'm really surprised I have to explain so many things to you.
You flatter yourself if you think I was referring only to you. Yeesh. I'm really surprised that you think anybody buys this cheesy, un-offended act. You're pretty obvious despite yourself deary.

I firmly believe that said sad individual is Trolli in disguise.

Trolli in disguise??? Hmm, will have to write lyrics and set it to the tune of "Judy In Disguise"

Trolli in disguise,, that's what you are...

Having a great time? Yes. Deflecting attetnion from a supposed hypocrisy? No. There is no hypocricy.
No hope for this either. Some people can get caught with their hand in the cookie jar and swear until the end that they weren't stealing cookies. It's intriguing, really.

And to answer your final question, yes
Heh heh, I figured as much. If you can't logically defend yourself, then your detractor is an idiot.

I hope you're right. It would be truly terrifying to think that there are two people out there like her.
