I'll bet you're wildly popular with your neighbours then

They were screaming and I wanted to as well but couldn't, had to keep in control. It was so awful.

Thankfully it killed her pretty much instantly (ran over her head), she only suffered for a few seconds. I turned off the headlights and had my oldest keep his little sisters in the car while I ran next door for the neighbor's help.

There wasn't much I could tell them as it was an accident, but we were all heartbroken. I wrapped her up in a blanket, put her in a box, and we laid her to rest in our garden the next day. She's got her own little memorial there.

To this day I still feel like crap about it.

OMG Sweetness, i am so sorry. Your story made me cry, for real. I can't imagine how horrible that was for you. At least it was quick and i'm sure you gave your kitty a wonderful life full of love.

^^ Aww thanks, t13nif. She was a special kitty to me, had her for 8 years. Her name was Jezebel.

Well, I also have a campfire pit in my front yard so my kids can roast marshmallows and hot dogs. It's not legal, but no one ever says anything. I guess the neighbors are used to my craziness. They know better than to mess with the crazy cat lady!!
