For you bunny owners, a question that just popped into my mind: can you teach them not to shit everywhere in the house or what do you do?![]()
I think bunnies can be litter trained just like cats. A friend of mine had a bunny and it used a kitty litter box. I think they instinctively pee/poo in the same spot all the time so maybe it's not difficult to train them.
When I had one back in grade 4 or so, I had him in a little cage, I'd let him out sometimes but I don't think the cage was a good idea cuz he outgrew it.
If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.
Thanks for the info moomies
Aw, sorry for you loss Symmy![]()

Yep. If you rescue a bunny from a shelter, most shelters have already litter box trained them. Rabbits are creatures of habit just like any other animal, so they are easily trained. I got lucky with Cinderella - she's a neat freak so I rarely find "raisins" on the floor.Originally Posted by Barbara

Awww, I want a pug! They're so cute and you can dress them up in silly outfits and they don't mind!
This is Lucky, he's 6, turning 7 in June. he is the only cat who is allowed to go outside, he would go crazy if we wouldn't let him.
Jenny is 3, our vet says she is a half persian or at least one of her grandparents was one. We aren't sure but we also don't really care. We got both her and Lucky from a shelter when they were babies. Jenny was most likely abused as a baby, she is dead scared of strangers, taking her to the vet is a nightmare.
Our dog, Maja, she is eleven years old. We almost had to put her to sleep last summer, she had horrible back pains. Since then she isn't allowed to walk stairs anymore but other then that she's doing great now. She only recovered because of our AMAZING vet who refused to put her down because she was still so lively. Our vet then tryed different medication and it worked. I honestly do not know what I'm gonna do when we have to put her down.
The latest addition to the family, Mio, he is just 10 months old.
And then there's Grace, the greatest horse ever:

Chloe, have you tried acupuncture with Maja? My parents have a poodle that's young (only 4), but became nearly paralyzed from the waist down. He went to acupuncture and it worked well - he still walks funny, but it helped a lot.
Yeah, our vet also suggested that but now she is fine and we just make sure that she doesen't walk any stairs anymore and that she doesen't jump too wild. We also don't take her with us when we go for rides with the horse anymore. It's too fast and dangerous for her now.
We might do that when she starts having problems again but for now she is fine again. We're so lucky to have such a good vet, if the vet wouldn't ahve talked us into giving her another chance with differents meds then she'd be dead now.
Aww, Easter kitty!![]()
