Prayers that all goes well and for a quick recovery for Ruby.
I'm sure she'll do fine, being that young.

Ahh... no news yet! It is driving me nuts! I keep checking my phone every 30 seconds like a teenage girl waiting for her date to call. He said the surgery would be about 3 hours long so I am getting worried. I keep telling myself that they got a late start and they will call in a bit.

It will be okay; good thoughts!!!!!!!! I dropped my cat, Mr. Sweets, off to be neutered and I was kind of hugely pregnant and spastic and the vet called and said "Mr. Sweets has cryptorchid" Myheart started pounding, I was freaking out " Oh my god, will he live will he be okay???" They then explained he had an undescended testicle and needed to be cut open like a girly cat.

    It will be okay.

Thank goodness the Vet just called! They said she did very well with the surgery and she is waking up and in her kennel. They said everytime someone goes by or stops to talk to her she is very happy to see them, wags her beatstick of a tail, and gives them kisses!

Thank you all so much for the good thoughts!! I will get to pick her up tomorrow afternoon!!

So before I pick Ruby up this afternoon I was going to pick up a few things for her to be as comfortable as possible while she recovers and was wondering if anyone uses a waterbottle on their kennel with their dogs. I have seen them around they look like the ones we used with our rabbits growing up just bigger.
I want to make sure she stays hydrated but she is supposed to stay still for a while to make sure everything heals so we have to keep her in her kennel and I know a bowl in the kennel isnt an option.

Thanks again for all your good thoughts!!

    SHE'S HOME!! SHE'S HOME!!!

She is doing so well it is crazy!!! It is like nothing ever happened!!! She is already moving quicker than before the surgery! I am scared to see her in a couple weeks after she is recovered!!

Doc said she was out and running around this morning before they had the kennel door open all the way!!

Of course my bf took my camera with him this morning when he left for the weekend, so I will try to post pictures when he gets back!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!! Here's to a speedy recovery!!
