Thanks all, I really love my kittens. It mine and my fiances first step to parenthood. We are really gentle with them, and the breeders gave us great tips on how to raise them. Nina father (the Siamese) got and award for his beauty. We have copies of his certificates. I met him and the mother, and can see why he won.

@sputnik, I love the little raspy meows. She only does that when she wakes up, asking her questions, or hears me preparing her food. We have out little conversations.0-ppppppoikl., <----She JUST did that because she walked on my laptop.
@KrisNine, sorry to hear that. A death of a pet is something I dread.
@HWBL, your poor kitty was crossed eyed That's a genetic defect. I agree about the Siameses cats are like dogs. I play fetch with her, and she rolls over.

    Little late to this party...

I have a rat-terrier who weighs all of ten pounds but in his mind he's big and tough. He lays on me and burrows under my blankets. He loves the family group but has no fondness for strangers. Actually he can be a bit mean.

He's the only little dog I've ever had.

Thank you! They're both kinda nuts, but they're our nuts and we love them anyway.

This is my toy Poodle, Monet Motley, but he goes by Monet. This was last summer, after picking him up from my Mom's house while we had been on vacation. He was so anxious to get going home, he thought he would try driving. Goofy dog...lol

Poodles are so smart and crazy. Our dog is 3/4 Poodle. Today she had to go to the vet for some shots (the first time we were at the vet's in a year, knock on wood) and she was quite nervous. So she charmed the pants off of everybody there, staff and other animal owners, by giving everybody kisses and shake paws with them and doing high fives. Then we were called into the room and as soon as she saw the table, she scrambled to get out of the there, but we still had her on the leash. So, when she realized she couldn't escape, she did her whole charm routine again. She was so busy that she never realized they gave her a shot, LOL.

I have had several Poodles over the years, and they are very smart. You can teach them anything in just a few tries. Sounds like your dog is a little charmer.

We just adopted a new cat on Saturday, for my son's 9th birthday. They guesstimated his age at 2 years old, but he looks like he is only around 10 months or so. My son wanted to adopt him, because he told me that we are the only people that would want him (the entire right side of his face is messed up...right eye was surgically removed, half an ear, and whisker stumps). We named him Frederick, and so far he is the biggest doll. He follows us all over the house, squeaks when he meows, and sleeps with his legs in the air.

Awwww. I bet he will be such a sweet pet and love you all the more since you picked him. I think animals know when they are overlooked by a lot of people that their time might be up soon. I am sure he knows you all saved him and he will be a loyal and loving companion.

Thank you and your son for saving him!
The more people I encounter, the more I like my animals.
