Hemi really does love him, its so cute..its like she plays mommy, and he looks for nipples on her to feed. She gets in a mood and doesn't want to be bothered, that picture captured her "leave me the fuck alone" mood. When Ozzy bugs too much she just flattens him, takes a paw and just throws him to the ground, he thinks its great, to him shes playing.

    we have FIVE cuties..yes FIVE!
Sam, Howie, Jasper and Ozzy are my moms, and Hemi girl is mine. Hemi sleeps with me every single night, and she will push the other dogs off or try to wiggle in between them if they are on the bed already. Howie has an attitude, hes kind of anti-social, if he feels like it, he will come and say hi, but don't go looking for him because he will just give you the look like "don't bother me, im busy sleeping". He tries to sleep with me but I always end up having to kick him off because he wants to sleep right up against you, and pushes you out of bed, or you wake up sweating because hes basically on top of you. Sam sleeps with me alot too, and Jasper sleeps at the foot of my bed on the floor. Since the puppy came, I have 4 buddies constantly.

Four dogs in the bed?!?!? You must have a king sized bed to get an inch of sleeping space!

nope, full size bed, i usually wake up on the edge almost falling off. I shut my door last night though, so just my girl was in there, I needed a night of good sleep. Jasper rarely sleeps on the bed, hes too damn big, 110lbs. Usually its just two of them because thats all that can really fit. Some mornings if I don't get out of bed quick enough all four jump up and I get sat on and kissed.

I guess im one of those crazy dog people??

I could easily kick them all out of my room, but I really don't have the heart to, and I even hate kicking them off the bed. I wish I had a king size bed, or even a queen would be nice, but my room is tiny, so I'm lucky I can even get a full size in there.

I'd sleep with my dog, except I'm so hot natured, I can't handle it. You're a good dog mommy to sleep with 3 or 4 in a full bed!

Please...nothing crazy about it. We have four cats and the dog...we're just flat out crazy. We're being evaluated for a "senior" adoption. A 9 year old Labbie boy. The rescue is really strict about the senior rescues because they really just want them to get a good, stable home to spend their golden years

I didn't mention our two cats and the bird, so funny to come home to a dog watching the cat that is watching the bird.

Awwww KrisNine I hope you get him!! Do you know his history? Was he abused or the people just couldn't keep him anymore? I would love to give a dog with a crappy past a wonderful new home.

I always say if I would win the lottery or suddenly come into a lot of money, the first thing I would do is open a shelter, or a rescue, specifically Labs, but I wouldn't be able to turn another kind away. Im a sucker for animals period.

If my dad wouldn't have up and quit his job and decided to make his business full time, I think we would have a Lab rescue, my mom gave it some serious thought for a while.

Apparently, he was turned in by his original owners because they moved to a condo that wouldn't allow dogs!! WTF??? How do you have a dog for 8 years and do that? Especially out here, there are tons of places that take dogs, big dogs too! Anyway, not only did they dump him, but they dumped him in a regular "kill" shelter. The rescue got him on his last day. He was an only dog before, but seems to like dogs. He's cute and Josie will have a husband. She's 8 so they'll be a good match.

ugh, people never cease to amaze me...how can you just leave an animal after 8 years?!?!! Thats so cute that Josie will have a hubby!! Its good that they are the same age, if one was younger than the other they might not adjust as easily. Good for you! You must post pics when/if you get him!

    Good luck, Krisnine!

Silver you betch, I'm so jealous of you!!! Your puppies are so cute!!!!

If I had a choice I'd have a chocolate brown lab, a Great Dane, a bulldog, and so on.
