I'm really sorry. I've been there. Being with your kitty isn't as hard as it sounds.....it's very peaceful and you'll have no regrets for being there.

I agree, it was actually quite a beautiful experience.. going home alone was the hard part.

yeah i can see that she is sick
my baby Boo used to pant like a dog when he was tired and couldn't keep up with his brother when they played, he also had non-solid #2s in the bathroom and I used to have to wipe his little ass for him, and he was just developmentally less than his brother in body and mind and they were from the same litter, but I didn't know any better and I wish I'd have known sooner like you do Kat, its ok, you're doing the right humane kind thing but im sorry too...

I do the same for my kitty now.It seems she's lost all control over it,and goes everywhere.

    what sad eyes.

i'm glad you are going to stay with her rather than leave her at a shelter. i'm sure she is grateful of that too.

i can't imagine how hard this is for you. i'm so sorry.

Kat, I'm so sorry. I lost a puppy a few months ago who spent the last 4 days of her life at my vet's office. I went to see her right before she died and was able to talk to her and stroke her head and back. I don't even think she was conscious but I want to believe she knew I was there. It was heartbreaking but it gave me some comfort to know I was there for her at the end.
