    Damn, I didn't know cats can live that long. I wonder why dogs have a much shorter life span? Dogs only live for up to 16-18 or so years right? As far as cats, I own one now since she's been a kitten. She's only about 2 years old now, and the only other cat I had got hit by a car. I assumed they lived as long as dogs do.

    Dogs longevity depends on their size, I thought. Generally the bigger dogs like Great Danes don't live as long as smaller dogs..

    Mischief (the cat in the OP) looks JUST like the cat I grew up with, Gonzo. He was around for 16 years, and a totally awesome cat...
