I'm so sorry Rhonda. She was a beautiful little girl. I know how much you'll miss her. My thoughts are with you.

It's been a little over a year for me since I lost my sweet girl, Josie. It gets better, but I miss her everyday. We rescued another dog, in her memory, a month after she passed. He is an amazing boy and has really helped fill the hole in our hearts.

That was one lucky little doggy to have your love and to love you back. You did everything possible for her.
I am so sorry, but you did your very best. No one could have been more devoted.

I'm so sorry for your loss Rhonda.

You did a remarkable thing in adopting her and she had such a happy time with you.

I'm just reading this post for the first time now and I must say my condolences to you. Just try to remember the good and funny moments with her. Sometimes animals are just like little angels placed with us for a short little amount of time to spread happiness then they must go. One thing if it makes you feel a little better is the last couple years of her short life were spent with you--she knew you loved her and gave her the best of everything. Her first few years getting kicked from a boot didn't show a happy life, but rest assured her final years were happy. Hang in there. *virtual hugs*

I am just reading this for the first time and wanted to offer my condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. I have been through the pain of losing our animal babies and I still cry everyday for mine. I think what you are doing is beautiful and noble. Just know you have so much support here. xoxo

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I appreciate them.
mtlebay- I keep telling myself that and I know I did everything I could for her, but I can't help feeling cheated, her too. I guess I'm kinda to the anger stage.. Had the asshole not done that to her..this may have not happened.. yet, I may not have had her at all..

So many things run through my head today, being it one week today she was still with me ..well at the vet in surgery right now.

I know she was loved and happy. She showed me that EVERYDAY - she would smile. Seriously, when I'd come home or she would get to go to work with me she would - literally show her teeth and smile.

I love you Bella Rue and miss you more than you know. RIP my sweet, pretty girl.
