My nans cat went missing for 2 whole days once, she was out of her mind because she never usually goes further than the garden! But then she just turned up crying at the kitchen window!!

I trained my cat to come when I tap a fork on a can of cat food and call his name...Just for future reference ...glad your cat is safe!

This cat is a little strange. Most cats will come when they hear you shake food. This one looks at you like "why are you shaking that at me?". He doesn't find food too well (his sniffer doesn't seem to work right) and when he does get it, he kind of pushes it around trying to bite it. He really does have brain damage. He's safe and sound, we've made it a point to get a lock for the basement and make sure the back door is locked now.
