He might have a lot of juice to spew out since he's a larger breed. Watch out Tenaj!

When they are "full" can you tell?
I would think that ppl who are used to squeezing it out could, like our groomer and vets etc.

OK Moomies, first you 'touch' your dog in bed, then your squeezing his ass?? WTF?? I'm calling RSPCA, I'm sorry but you leave me no choice.

I have heard about dog's anal glands needing to be squeezed. When Chez was younger he use to walk a bit funny, like John Wayne just after he got off his horse, we thought it was just the way he walked but I mentioned it to the vet and she stuck her finger up his hole and squoze and he was fine after. She said if he started doing it again bring him in so she could squeeze it or she'd teach me how to do it myself I'm sorry, I love my dog to bits but there aint no way I'm sticking my finger up his hoop!!!

The touching was mostly just flipping him around cuz he likes to sleep between either my or hubby's legs so I'd bring him back up so I could hug him. NO don't call the SPCA!!

My boyfriend's dog does exactly the same thing. I thought he just enjoyed walking strangely!

Yea when dogs scoot, it might possibly be a sign of some kinda anal gland problem.

    Warning -- graphic!!

HOLY SHIT!(no bun intended) I have NEVER heard of this! I grew up with dogs and never heard of anything remotely about squeezing a dog's ass. One time, my aunt's dog ate something he wasn't suppose to. I think it was some kind of bone, anyways, it like got stuck in his colon and the poor dog(ST. Bernard) was constipated for about a week. He moaned and cried and finally my aunt took him and the vet found out what was wrong and "unstuck" the bone. My aunt said it was the "funniest damn thing I have ever seen". "Shit was spraying out everywhere." The vet was covered in fecal matter. She said it was a scene right out of a movie. She said she was so happy to be in front of the dog. Said it stunk so bad that the helpers were throwing up whilst cleaning it up. Needless to say, her dog was very happy pup.

One of my cats has to be expressed. She drags her butt on the floor so she gets to go to the vet to be squeezed. It smells really gross so I could never do it myself.

this is ... hands down ... the most disgusting thread I've ever read.

Granted, I didn't even open the poop guy's site.

    WHAT movie is this?

Oh yuck. My friend's beagle has to have his anal glands squeezed. They actually protude out if they don't get it done regularly. It's worth a trip to the vet, I'm not doing that and I've helped deliver puppies so, there you go.
Snooky Wookums, prepare for the invasion!
