Thread: Can cats get insomnia?

    My cat does the meowing thing too occassionally at night, in between pacing. Like one poster said 'a mournful meow'--good description. I just say 'Spooky!' and she stops.....but not the pacing. But thats ok.

    maybe they are sick or in pain??? i would take them to the vet. my cat never did that at 16. she communicated using sounds and i replied in cat speak lol but i dunno, i would immediately think somethings wrong, but i tend to worry and get nervous a lot.
