I have a fear of dogs more than cats, because I've been attacked by both and although a cat lunging out of the darkness and sinking its teeth into your leg is eerie and disturbing to say the least, a dog biting you can be much worse. I have a huge hole in my right foot to prove it. (Anyone want to see photos!?)

If they do conservation work, that's great, but I don't agree with using animals as performers/mass entertainment.

They do a lot of conservation work, so I felt good about going there.

God, he's amazing. So powerful so out of ordinary, so beautiful... these pictures are inspiring.

Man, is that not one of the prettiest sights ever. He's so fierce.

I'm sorry that your foot is permanently scarred because of a dog bite. If you want to post a photo I'll look. I don't know whether I'm being more curious or nosy. Did you have to go through the hell of having rabies shots in case the dog who bit you was rabid?

A nasty little mutt (and I love dogs) once bit me in the upper lip, and I do have a scar, but since I'm aging, the dog-bite scar is now blending in with other wrinkles that are beginning to appear.

His bite didn't make me fear dogs, for some reason. I just didn't like him. He was a small to medium sized mutt, with Dalmation in him, not a pit bull, Rottweiler, Akita or any of those dogs that have the bad reputations.

Do you have nightmares about dogs? I've had recurring nightmares about cats and kittens for years, though now I can stroke a cat's fur and interact with one, whereas a few years ago I couldn't because my phobia was so strong.

The photos are awesome, I admit, and Odin is one remarkable looking cat though I must admit I like to admire him from the safety of my own home.

I'm going to forward this to my SIL and my cousin, who are huge cat lovers. They should love it!
