Hahahaha!! They do!!!

THESE ANIMALS LOOK LIKE PLATINUM POP STARS POSING FOR AN ALBUM COVER

    Jan 13, 2007

Pop albums have a look. There are about a dozen poses, and a record company knows that if they plug their ‘artists’ into one or another, then slap it on an album cover, it could make millions of dollars. It was only a matter of time before animals got in on the act.
Here, then, are pop music’s biggest animal acts. They’re the ones with the right look, the look that convinces pop fans their music sounds great. They are, truly, a breed apart.
    Scream, girls! Here they come!

    Piggly Da Hogg

He’s one bad rapper. How bad? He isn’t East Coast or West Coast. He’s Pork Coast!

Da Hogg grew up hard. In the mean hog farms of Florida. Now he makes platinum keepin’ it real.

His biggest hit single: ‘Dat Ain’t Bacon, Dat’s My Cousin George.’ But ‘Knife Da Po-Po’ is climbing the charts – with a bullet.

    Soff Bun E

He’s the little rabbit all the girls scream for. He’s Soff Bun E, teen heartthrob for rodents all over the world. You know his message.

‘Hey, girl. You know it’s you and me. You got my heart, girl – forever.’

It always makes the girls scream. Each of them is sure Soff Bun E sings just for her.

    The Clipper Sisters

These sexy sisters have been sitting at the top of the charts for years. Hit singles like ‘Puppy Love’ and Gimme The Bone’ have teens dancing all over the world.

Behind the scenes, they might scratch and fight each other. They steal each others’ men. One or another always seems to be threatening to leave and go solo.

It just adds to their mystique.

    El Roo Amor

El Roo Amor, the crooning kangaroo, is one of the most popular singers in the world. Most Americans who aren’t women in their 40s-70s haven’t heard of him, outside of the tabloids. But Amor has millions of middle-aged women fans from Argentina to Milan.

In the US, his hit songs are more rumored about than listened to. What’s the problem? Maybe it’s that songs that sound like dull 1985 American pop play better in Dubai than in Dallas.

    But he’s a lover!

    JD Felix

JD Felix emerged out of LA in 1969 as one of the deepest, and most depressed, California singer-songwriters. His fame was cinched at Woodstock with his iconic performance of ‘O Patty.’

In the middle of the song, he burst into tears. That proved to his fans just how authentic he was. Just a cat, his guitar and his bleeding heart.

Critics appreciate the way he’s too pure for things like musicality or singing in tune. They come for the tears. JD Felix delivers – in buckets.

    The Neighsmith Brothers

Actually, they aren’t brothers at all. Their army of teenage girl fans couldn’t care less. They just groove to the boys’ dance moves and dream.

People over 17 usually couldn’t identify any of their songs at all. All they know is that three smiling horses keep showing up on the cover of ‘Tiger Beat.’ It’s the girls who keep their albums going platinum.

    Der Fokus

Critics love this German band. Their brand of electronica is the future, and it’s been the future since 1975. How cool are they?

So cool nobody knows where to find their albums, that’s how cool. The fact that no one has actually heard their music keeps them the ultimate art-band. Everyone talks about how ‘influential’ they are.

Now they’re making a comeback tour. Problem is, no one knows where.

    Hamilton Quasar Ranch

HQR is bringing psychedelia back to the Teens. Each of these beasts has an arrest / hospitalization record as long as your arm. Last year’s tragic loss of lead singer Chick (center) to an OD in the bathtub hasn’t even slowed them down.

In fact, the band is so stoned it isn’t clear whether they’ve even noticed. They just keep making their patented 25 minute long loopy tracks that begin somewhere and end nowhere. Sometimes they show up to concerts.

Sometimes they don’t. Their new album, ‘Kale and Peyote Stew,’ took 18 years to make. That’s proof of this band’s commitment to excellence.

    The Animals

The legendary ’60s band thought to ride a wave of good will to a new album and comeback tour. Both bombed, and for good reason. Fans aren’t as naive as they were in 1964.

They can see what the Sixties couldn’t. These guys aren’t really animals at all. See, back then, all it took was long hair.

Now you need hooves, tails, horns. It’s harder to deceive the public today. Millenials know a fraud when they see one.
