I love the tiny accessories. My mom used to collect tiny stuff for her Sun Conure, Domino. He had a tiny tennis racket.

These are cute pictures. I'm sure rats make nice pets, and they are quite cute in general, but their tails just creep me out. I don't know what it is about their tails, but they give me the willies.

i was just going to post the exact same thing! i didn't know other people were like this. yes, the tails freak me out...like, especially in that second pic; i cringed a little when i saw that.

i find them to remind me slightly of snakes, which i have an extremely intense phobia of.

My little rat passed away peacefully in her sleep a week ago. I would have announced it then but I really wasn't ready. It's been very hard without her around, and I miss her so so so much.

She was very old and very happy. And as sad as I am because she's left me.. it doesn't take away all the love and fun that she gave me throughout these 3 years.

This is just a snapshot that I really love. The last photo I ever took of her is this one.

Tail aside, this little one was precious, he reminded me of Stuart Little.
